TSgt Woodrow W. Scott, Jr.,USAF,Ret., son of the late Woodrow W. Scott, Sr., and Julia V. Scott, was born on May 10, 1946 in Fairfax, Virginia. He entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Sentara Careplex. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Arthur; two brothers, Charles Scott and Albert Scott. He graduated from George C. Marshall High School in Fairfax. After graduating he joined the United States Air Force. He retired in 1986 after 20 years of dedicated service as a Jet Engine Technician Instructor. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia A. Scott, Hampton; two daughters, Marie J. Scott of Hampton and Erica R. Knight (Bobby, Jr.) of Suffolk; son, Woodrow W. Scott, III of Hampton, VA; four sisters, Doris Barnes and Rose Marie Tyree (James) both of Manassas, VA, Shirley M. Scott of Hampton, VA and Jean Alexander (Nelson) of Falls Church, VA; six grandchildren, Kendal, Bobby III, Josiah, Jaxson, Johahn and TaiAsia; and a host of family and friends. A viewing will be held 1-6 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Pulaski Baptist Church, 31475 Eaton Lane Carrsville, VA. Dr. Robert E. Rodgers will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
