Willie E. Cooper, Jr.

Willie E. Cooper, Jr., 86, of Roland Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence. He was the son of the late Lillian Ward Cooper and Willie Eugene Cooper, Sr. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gail R.Cooper.Willie retired from Pilot Freight Trucking after numerous years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church.He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Elder Dr. Rose M. Cooper of Suffolk; daughter, Angela Mingga (Larry) of Suffolk; six sons, Rodney Cooper of Smithfield, Eugene Cooper of New York; Joe Willie, Timothy B. Warren (Theresa) of Portsmouth, Kenneth M. Warren (Doris) of Snellsville, GA, and Docky Warren of Va Beach, VA; 18 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.A celebration of life will be at noon, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Bishop Carlton Upton, Sr. will deliver the message of comfort. He will be entombed in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
