Wayne Zachary Holloway

Wayne Zachary Holloway, 50, of 708 River Rock Way, Newport News, Virginia transitioned on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Wayne was born December 27, 1970 in Suffolk, VA to the late Bennie and Annie Maude Holloway. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and Wesley Community College with a degree in Forensic Psychiatrist. He worked at Eastern State as a Tech 3 for 16 years for Mental illness patients for many years. He was a member of Friendship Church in Our Christ. Wayne loved his family. He was always there when they were in need. He took are of Koran Smith when he was 12 years old as well as running errands, grocery shopping, medication for him as well for his family. Wayne was quite the character. Always telling jokes to make you laugh. Most of all, he loved his favorite car B.M.W (White). He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings; Jerome (Laura-deceased), Bobby Sr.(deceased) his wife, Elaine, Celestine, Joyce (Jeffrey), Vera (deceased) her husband (deceased), Annette(Stanley-deceased), Larry (Cathy), Bennie, Jr., and step sister Barbara (Robert); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Wayne you will always be in our hearts! We love you! A viewing will be held 3-7 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
