Una Louise Phillips,67, of Forest Oak Ln transitioned on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 2025.
Una was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School class of ‘77. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant, from the VA Health Department.
She was preceded in death by her, parents Vera Mae and William (Cotton Top) Phillips, brother, Herbert Wynn, Jr., sister Anntionita Phillips-Hyman, bonus son ,Carlton Holland Jr.
Una loved to spend her quality time with her daughter Alexis and Sisters, Valerie, Sharyl and Joyce “Willo“. Thanksgiving and Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She also love shopping, walking the track and, watching one of her favorite tv show “the young and the restless”
She leaves to cherish her memory , one and only daughter, Alexis C. Holland. Sisters, Valerie Phillips, Sharyl Baskfield (Carroll) and Joyce “Willo” Phillips. Nephews ReShawn Phillips and Jarrell Baskfield.
Una also leaves behind life long friends and a special friend, Carlton Holland.
Una will be deeply missed and for remembered by her conversations, her sweet spirit, love for her family.
Her memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her dearly.
A public viewing will be held 2-5pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held 12 Noon, Friday, January 2, 2026 at Healing Chapel Baptist Church. Ms. Una will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
