The world has lost a Gentle Spirit, a Gentle Soul, a Gentle Man. Trent Darne’ Johnson transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home, November 15th 2021. The old ship of Zion came ashore and Jesus, the Captain, gently lead Trent from Earth to glory! God, in his infinite wisdom, knew that he was ready to come home - A Sunset on Earth… A Sunrise in Heaven. Trent was a native of Suffolk, Virginia and resided in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was a graduate of John Yates High School and North American Transport Driving Academy. Trent drove long distant trucks all over the country and Canada. He often sent pictures of various places he visited. Trent loved his job and he continued to drive “Big Rigs” until a few years ago when his vision became impaired. After retiring, he spent most of his time appreciating nature while enjoying his favorite hobbies of boating and fishing. Trent Darne’ Johnson born April 19, 1960 to Clarence William and Carrie Nell Johnson. Along with his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory: 2 sisters - Clarissa Canyon (Dwayne) of Newport News, Virginia; Crystal Boone (Cornell) of Suffolk, Virginia; two brothers - Troy Delano Johnson (Amelia) of Seattle, Washington; Tony Romero Johnson (Lisa) of Huntsville, Alabama; one aunt - Geneva Boone of Suffolk, Virginia; two uncles - Sylvester Johnson (Carrie) of Suffolk, Virginia and Jimmy Fault (Francis) of Carrsville, Virginia; a host of nephew's nieces, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
