Trend Frederica Stokes

Trend Frederica Stokes of Chesapeake, Virginia died Monday, August 30, 2021 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center at age 59. She was a native of Suffolk, Virginia and the daughter of the late William Mabrey and Costella Stokes. She was preceded in death by one brother, Terrance Smith. Trend graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s of Business Degree from the Virginia University of Lynchburg. She had 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Logistics. Most of her career was spent at the Navy Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was a faithful member of Total Transformation House of Praise in Suffolk, Virginia. Whether giving financially, sharing words of wisdom or being a great support system, she was a supporter of many people. Trend‘s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her two sons: Roderick Stokes and Ha’keem Jones, both of Chesapeake; one uncle: Benjamin Stokes of Suffolk; one devoted nephew: Christopher White of Hopewell, and a host of other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be held 12 Noon to 7pm Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A private celebration of life will be held 12 Noon for immediate family and close friends on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Total Transformation House of Praise.
