A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors of the Elephant's Fork Community.
Travis started his Early Childhood at Elephant’s Fork Elementary right in the heart of the community. This is where he excelled and began to establish his funny and charming character. Also while growing up he attended St. Philip’s Pentecostal Church, where he formed his passion for singing and the Lord! Where he sung in the choir and formed his own singing group along with his cousins and a neighborhood friend. The group would perform songs at various churches in Suffolk. Travis went on to complete his education and earn his GED at Job Crops while obtaining a trade in Landscaping. He would later establish His passion for the kitchen while working at Ryan’s,(Suffolk) starting out as the dishwasher. He then moved on to cook at a host of restaurants before we found his niche at Hilton Garden Inn as one of their Chef’s. He loved his job and had a passion for Serving! He would serve with a smile and a song. You could look for a song and a joke! He loved his Gospel Music and the Lord! You could look for Travis to give you a word and a song.
He was devoted to his family as well! But most importantly Travis was an outstanding Father to his son. You could find them in the park, playing basketball, or just outside laughing, dancing, and building their bond. Kameron was the force of his determination! With every accomplishment he set and obtained he would praise the Lord, and also let you know it’s because of his Son he can press on! Travis often said he wanted to give him and show him a bond he didn’t have with his father. He took PRIDE IN BEING KAMERON’S FATHER!
