Timothy DeWayne Hunt

Timothy DeWayne Hunt born November 23, 1962 gained his earthly wings on September 20, 2025, leaving behind the love of his life of 32 years Benita Butts and six kids who he loved and will forever cherish and adored him; Latisha Hunt, Timothy Hunt (Mary Duck), Dontea Hunt, Yasmine Keen, Myiesha Butts and D'Andre Butts, 18 grand kids and sister Helen Askew (Lonnie) brother Cleveland Hunt (Rachel) and his aunt, Francine Bryant and host of nieces and nephew and cousin and friends. Timothy will be reunited with his parents, Cleveland and Dorothy Hunt, and brother Castel Hunt. Timothy will truly be missed; his passing has impacted so many. Timothy was a hard worker and went out of his way to help so many. He will truly be missed by all. The family would like to say thank you to the VOA team, Dr. Aljaaforch, Dr. William Morrison, Medi Home Health and Hospice, and the Gentiva team for all their hard work and dedication that was given to him. Thank you for the many phone calls, check-ins, and words of encouragement throughout this difficult time. Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at noon, Monday, September 29, 2025, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
