Tiger Jones

Tiger Jones, affectionately known as “Tiger,” and also known as Fred and Ralph, was born on September 22, 1956, in Franklin, Virginia, to the late General Lee Jones and Mary Frances Jones. Tiger peacefully transitioned on December 12, 2025.

Tiger was a man of many talents and a true jack of all trades. If something needed fixing, he was the one to call—there was nothing he could not repair. He was dependable, hardworking, and always willing to help. Tiger had a love for WWE wrestling and was a devoted fan of the Washington Commanders football team.

Above all else, Tiger cherished his family. He especially loved talking with and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored deeply. He was a God-fearing man who believed in God and believed strongly in the importance of family, unity, and sticking together.

Tiger leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted partner, Robbie Hudson; two daughters, Kiesha Jones and Shakira Jones; and three grandchildren, JahNiyah Regis, Ceriyah, and Camari Ward.

He is also survived by three sisters, Maude Murray (Clifton), Barbara Richardson (Roy), and Annie Hargrove (John); and five brothers, William Jones (Mildred), Gene Jones, Jessie Jones (Mildred), Melvin Jones, and Jimmy Jones (Ella Louise).

In addition, Tiger leaves to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.

A viewing will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2025 at Piney Grove Baptist Church-Buckhorn. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
