On Saturday, March 5th at 8:30 PM, our beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin, Sister Tiffany Raquel Williams went home to be with the Lord. Tiffany was born August 24, 1988, at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia to Brenda Williams and Herbert Williams. She graduated from King’s Fork High School, Suffolk, VA and went on to obtain several certifications and licenses. Tiffany was always eager for knowledge. She was always seeking to improve herself. She loved to read and discuss the books she read with others. Tiffany had many careers that pointed to her devotion to serving others. She was a certified nursing assistant and a pharmacist technician. She had her commercial driver’s license and worked in the school system as a bus driver. She also attended Suffolk Beauty Academy. She was a supportive friend and confidante to many. She was a leader. And she was not afraid to tell others about Christ. Tiffany loved her church and her church family. She gave her life to Christ at a young age. She rededicated her life to Christ and was a devoted member of Healing Temple Church, Portsmouth, VA. She was the choir mother to the Voices of Healing Youth Choir. She worked with the Youth Ministry. She was willing to pitch in and help wherever she could. She also taught Bible Study. The last Bible Study lesson she taught was on February 8th. Her topic was “Trust Exhibited” taken from Daniel 6:10-24. She said that she felt like that lesson was meant for her to teach. She had a heart for God, a heart for people and a heart for service. People loved her. She was unapologetic about her relationship with Christ. She was not ashamed of the gospel. Many of her friends would call her for counsel and she would constantly ask to put her friends’ names on the prayer list. Tiffany’s greatest love, other than Christ, was her children. She loved and encouraged her children and she was a “mama bear” if you messed with her babies. She made sure her children were in church and she even had them singing together as a family. Tiffany loved her family and always showed her love through the numerous things she did for them. She will be missed by her many friends and loved ones. Tiffany was predeceased by her grandparents: Herbert Williams, Harvard Iverson, Elizabeth Guess and Dennis Butler. She was also predeceased by her special cousin, Tameka Carter.
