Terry Diane Langston

Terry Diane Langston, 57, of Chesapeake, VA transitioned Monday, November 27, 2023 at Sentara Leigh Hospital. Terry was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of McCoy Langston and Corine Richardson Langston.

Terry was a graduate of Suffolk High School and proudly served on the alumni committee of her beloved Red Raiders. Terry also attended Norfolk State University. She had an established career with Walmart stores, where she transitioned working relationships into life-long bonds of friendship. in addition, she was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, and made her way to Texas every year to cheer on her team.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, McCoy, Corine and Sam(Loving Step-father), her siblings, Vernon, Annette and Norris as well as her two nephews Michael and Desmond.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Shirley Hicks (Whitman) of Portsmouth, VA, Doris Cheeks of Chesapeake, VA and one brother, Johnnie Langston (Jackie) of Suffolk, VA, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Terry will be remembered for her smile, jovial personality and sense of humor.

 A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 at First Baptist Church South Hill, 3633 Galberry Road, Chesapeake, Virginia 23323. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
