Tarsha L. Boykins

Tarsha L. Boykins, 39, affectionately known as "Tarsha Bell" daughter of Walter L. Boykins Jr., and Evelyn L. Boykins, was born on January 31, 1984 and on August 23, 2023 the Lord welcome her home. Tarsha was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walter Boykins, Sr., and Mary Boykins, maternal grandfather, Orvel L. Beamon and uncle Benjamin Beamon. She attended Suffolk Public School and was a native of Suffolk, Virginia. She was employed at Community Alternative Inc. for 3 years. She worked in the Healthcare field for 18 years. She believed believed in and lived for her children and grandchildren. Tarsha lived by her promise to help people. She would literally give the coat off her back to a stranger if they needed it. She was the true definition of a friend. Tarsha leaves to cherish her memories her father, Walter Boykins Jr. (Carlotte); mother, Evelyn Boykins; children, Tyquan Holloman, Jamani Copeland, Antonio Wilson and Mer'Sede Wilson; two grandchildren, Amillion Holloman and Ashton Holloman; brothers, Travis Boykins and Walter Boykins III (Taimoo); sisters, Tynesha Jones, Tamesha Scutchings (Gerald), Tempest Selby (Jacquis); grandmother, Mary Frances Beamon; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; special cousin, Jalisa Mullins, Dequisha Beamon, Latonya Shelton and Priscilla Artis; best friends Toshiba Thomas, Rebecca Jn-Francois, Cora Allen, Charmaine Allen, Erica Littles and Donald White. Public viewing will be held 1-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Balm Church.
