Sylvester Jake Joyner, 72, of Carson, CA, formerly of Suffolk, VA, transitioned on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his residence. A public viewing will be held 3-6pm, Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 17, 2026 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries. Mr. Joyner will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family has entrusted Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. with services rendered with dignity, compassion, and care.
