Shirley Winnegan-Harris

Mrs. Shirley Warren Winnegan-Harris, 82, of Yellowhammer Road, Zuni, transitioned Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Evelyn F. Warren and Jack Warren. She was a graduate of Hayden High School and Norfolk State College. She retired as a School Bus Driver. Shirley was a member of Gilfield Baptist Church where she served as an Usher, Church Clerk, Trustee, and Church Secretary. She was also a member of Good Neighbors Club. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eugene Harris of Zuni; daughter, Sharon W. Thomas of Richmond; son, Fernando M. Winnegan of Richmond; sister, Jacqueline Joyner of Windsor; six stepdaughters; one stepson; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Gilfield Baptist Church, 9040 Doles Road, Ivor, Virginia. Elder Kenneth Ricks will deliver the message of comfort.
