Shelia A. White

Shelia Ann White, 57, of Fuller Street transitioned Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was born April 29, 1960 daughter to the late Mary Ann Spruill White and Leroy White. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her son Corey Lashay White.Sheila was a gradaute of John F. Kennedy High School class of 1979. She accepted Christ at an early age. Two of her favorite songs she loved to listen to was "Every Praise" and "Take me to the King". She has been employed with Sentara Obici for over 38 years holding the position as an Administrative Clerk in the Food Services Department. Now if you ever wanted to see a million-dollar smile all you had to do was be in her presence. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jaylen "Jay Bird" Bradshaw (Lacresha Riddick); godson Corey “Lil C” White both of Suffolk; two sisters whom she loved dearly, Linda White and Tracy Arleen White both of Suffolk;  loving brother, Frederick White (Nancy) of Suffolk; aunts, Betty Goodman, Mary Alice Wilkins, Beulah-Mae Johnson and Virginia Ralph all of Suffolk; uncle, William Wilkins of Suffolk; nieces, Ebony Powell (Breon), Tempest White and Chasity White, Christina White, Crystal White all of Suffolk; nephews, Kempren White and Nathaniel Shaw; three great nieces; twelve great nephews; one great-great nephew; children from work, Luther Stagg Jr., Javonda Worthington and Timothy Chapman all of Suffolk. A host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at New Pauls Temple, 720 Hosier Road, Suffolk.
