Shawanda Milteer, 49, of Baltimore, Maryland was born Friday, July 5, 1974 to Durrell Majette and the late Gloria Elaine Johnson in Franklin, Virginia. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents, Paul and Minon Majette and Maternal grandparents, Willie Beatrice Rose-Milteer and Elmer "Buddy" Milteer, Sr.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School class of 1994 and she worked at Gwaltney of Smithfield.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Durrell Majette; brother, Corey Johnson; aunts, Paulette Ashe-Majette, Rose Marie Bryant (Tyrone) and Beatrice F. Ash (Clarence Jr.); uncles, Larry Majette, Terry Majette, Leon Majette, Edwin Milteer (Diane) and Elmer Milteer, Jr. (Towanda); nieces, great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
