Sharon "Snick" Denise Bazemore

Sharon “Snick” Bazemore, 62, born June 15, 1956, passed on Aug. 6, 2018, at Obici Memorial Hospital. She was born to the late Lottie Darden Bazemore and Rudolph Julius Ray Bazemore Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Annissa Strothers (Rodney) of Suffolk, Litisha Hagerdorn (Alexander) or Columbus OH; four sons, Anthony Bazemore (Vanessa), of Suffolk, Corey Bazemore (Roshawna), of Long Island, N.Y., Lewis Bazemore (Latoya) and Shawn Bazemore (Patricia), both of Suffolk; two sisters, Vivian Bazemore and Faye Bazemore, both of Suffolk; three brothers, Rudolph “Bud” Julius Ray Bazemore Jr., of Laurel, Md., Daron Bazemore (Docelsy) and Michael Bazemore (Jewlette), both of Suffolk; her special goddaughter, Altonya Waters; her special cousin, Mary Darden Rodgers; 28 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be hosted by Acts Community Church at Gates of Heaven Church, 112 Beech St., at noon, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018. Apostle Tonya Watkins Spruill will officiate the service.
