Sandra Yvette Savage, 60, of North Main Street, Suffolk, transitioned Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Alberta "Ada" Savage and Joseph J. Savage. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Mae Silver and Gloria Wright; brother, James Savage. Sandra was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School class of 1978. She received her associates degree in Applied Science from Paul D. Camp Community College. She was employed as a CNA with Autumn Care of Suffolk and attended New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries. She leaves to cherish her memory four sisters, Mary Ellen Savage of Bronx, NY, Ernestine Johnson of Atlantic City, NJ, Roberta Edmonds of Suffolk, VA, and Lisa Savage of Virginia Beach, VA; three brothers, Vernon Savage of Newport News, VA, Curtis Savage of Suffolk, VA, and Carl Savage Alvonda) of Glen Allen, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,and friends. A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Trustee Michael Spratley will officiate, Pastor Trevon Boone will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the C.W.
