Samuel Lee Roberts, 71, of Leafwood Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Sunday, February 1, 2026 at his residence.
He is survived by :Kirtina Roberts ( daughter), Jonathan Roberts (son), Tim Roberts (brother), E.C. Copeland (uncle). He is preceded by his parents, Joseph Edward Roberts and Sarah Copeland Roberts.
He will be missed by a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
A brief memorial service will take place Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 3pm at Laurel Hill United Church of Christ, 8001 South Quay Rd. Suffolk, VA. 23437. Light refreshments will be provided afterward.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at a later date when the weather permits.
