Ruth Elnora Council, 69, of Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, VA, transitioned on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Sentara Belle Harbour. A public viewing will be held 1-6pm, Sunday, September 27, 2026 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held 12:00pm, Monday, September 28, 2026 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Ms. Council will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family has entrusted Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. with services rendered with dignity, compassion, and care.
