Ruby Morings Williams gained her wings on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her residence. She was the daughter of Alice Morings and of the late Fred Morings. She was born November 15, 1955. She graduated from Forest Glen High School in June 1974. She attended P. D. Pruden Voc-Tech where she obtained her Certified Nursing Aid license, and a Medical Terminology Certificate. She attended Acts Pharmacy where she became a Certified Medication Aide. Ruby worked for Sentara Obici Hospital for 44 years, other places of employment were Holiday House of Portsmouth, Community Alternatives in Zuni and Presbyterian Group Home. She was a past member of St. John Christian Church, Suffolk, VA. Selfless is a word that characterizes her love, her generosity, her friendship, and her spirit. She gave her all for the care and welfare of friends and family. Her mark will always be present in the hearts and lives of many for whom she made a positive difference. She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her loss, her mother Alice Morings, sister, Mary Saunders (Joe), Husband Albert Williams, brothers, Frederick Morings (Tia), Samuel Morings (Portia), Lyndon Morings (Alfreda), son Corey (Lucy); Godson, Desmond Turner and Lavarius Jones; grandchildren, Ariel Baker, Summer Baker; step grandchildren, Elsna; nieces, nephews, and friends. The Morings family wishes to thank everyone for cards, visits, and any expressions of love and kindness. A memorial service will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. The family will be receiving friends and guests at 2031 Indian Point Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
