Rosa Elizabeth Holland

Rosa Holland 80, of the 600 block of Chisholm Lane Suffolk Virginia, gained her wings in Heaven on December 26, 2020 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Affectionately known as Boot or Grandma to everyone she was born to the late Lloyd and Jessie Clemons. She never turned anyone away rather it was a hot meal or a place to stay. Originally from Winton North Carolina her family moved to Suffolk when she was a teenager and she never left. She worked at National Linen for many years until her health begin to fell and she retired. Rosa will be greatly missed by everyone. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband William Holland daughter Cynthia Clemons of Suffolk, Virginia sons Gregory Clemons and Tyrone (lil bit) Clemons of Suffolk Virginia. Special niece Rosa Ralph of Suffolk, Virginia and nephews Victor (Blink) White of Waverly, Virginia and Thomas (Butch) Brown of North Carolina. One sister Virginia (Sister) Moore of Suffolk, Virginia and one brother John (Dookie) Clemons (Francine)of Sedley, Virginia; twelve grandkids,twenty two great grandkids,and one great great grandchild and many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Jessie Clemons three brothers Lloyd (June) Clemons Jr,Thomas Clemons Sr and Arthur (Nig) Clemons Sr. and brother-in-law Enoch Moore Sr. The family would like to thank her caregiver Joyce McCray. A public viewing will be held Monday January 4 2021 at the funeral home. A Graveside service will be held 1:00p.m Tuesday January 5, 2021 in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
