Rodney “King” Clark, 64, of Suffolk, Virginia, peacefully transitioned on May 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on February 20, 1961, to the late Florence and Richard Clark, Rodney was a proud native of Suffolk. He attended Suffolk Public Schools, where he earned his high school diploma.
Rodney served his country honorably as a United States Marine and later retired with distinction. After his military service, he channeled his passion for automobiles into his own business, RDB&C Body Repair. Known for his skillful craftsmanship and dedication to excellent customer service, Rodney took great pride in his work and in helping others.
He was the devoted husband of Kim Clark, a loving father of three, a proud stepfather of two, and a cherished grandfather of five. Rodney’s strength, warmth, and humor will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leon Clark and Richard Clark Jr.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Melvin Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
