Robert "Tuggie" Gregory Baker, 48, of Suffolk transitioned Friday, July 6, 2018, at Sentara Norfolk General. He was the son of Robert Lee Britt and the late Hattie Baker Simpson. He was preceded in death by his aunts, Barbara Knight, Patricia Baker, and Shirley Boone, uncles, James Thomas Baker, Jr. and Jimmy Baker."Tuggie" is survived by  his wife, Dionme Baker, two daughters, Charnna Fiers (Kenneth) and Alexus Grant; two sons, Robert Chapman(Markell) and Kwamne Baker; six grandchildren,Za'Reyana Brown, Zy'Aveion Smith, Zayden Fiers, Kenteaira Harris, and Chantel Blow, and Ayvah Baker; two sisters, Stephonie Baker (John) and Tia Brock; brother, Quincy Baker; three nephews, Jonquil Baker, Jontrell Baker, and De'Amari Huggins; three nieces, Jonesha Baker, Quintasia Baker, and Nikiya Warren; aunts, Mary Baker and Brenda Persons; uncles, Henry A. Baker and Henry L. Baker, and Earnest Eure; one great-uncle, Larry Brinkley. a long devoted friend Antwoinette Blow; stepchildren, Tamia Whitley, Tyshaly Whitley, William Whitley, Quhnasha Blow, and Raheem Whitley; a host of other relatives and friends.A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Antioch United Church of Christ, 900 Hull Street, Suffolk.
