Our loved one Robert Cooper, 62, of West Washington Street, departed this life on May 6, 2024 at his residence. Born on October 9, 1961 to the Lillian Foreman and William Johnson. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Victoria, James, William, Albert, Riddick Johnson, and Catherine Garvin; grandmother, Quessie Cooper; grandfather, Les Cooper; and niece, LaTasha Bellamy.

Robert was a very fun and loving man, with a kind heart. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Brenda Cooper; sons, Cody and Erin; sisters, Regina Riddick, Ella Johnson, Bernice Johnson, Ester Lassiter, Adell Webb, Vivian Bishop, Ethel Hill and Ella McWilliams; brothers, William Cooper (Tina), James Garvin, and Herbert Simpson; brother-in-law, Jimmy Clagon; a special devoted, Brooker Knight; and a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. Rev. Robert A. Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
