Robert James Britt 74 entered into eternal slumber on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Sentara Obici Hospital.
He was born May 5, 1950 to the late Willie Mae Carroll Britt and James Britt in Suffolk, Virginia.
Robert attended B.T. Washington High School. Robert was employed at P. D. Pruden Company before illness.
Robert was preceded in death by his (Son ) Robert Baker, (Mother) Willie Mae Britt, (Father) James Brit, (Brothers) David Holland, Linwood Britt, Willie George Britt, (Long Life Friend) Virginia Zimmerman and (Grand Mother) Rosa Carroll-Small.
Left behind to celebrate Roberts memory (Son) Jason Zimmerman, (Brother) William Britt, (Sister- in-law) Elder Wanda Britt and host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A public viewing will be held 1-5pm, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held noon, Friday, February 14, 2025 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
