Robbin Ann Elam, 57, of Terrywood Drive, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Monday, April 13, 2020 at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Mary S. Bell and Tom H. Bell. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hawk. She was a graduate of John Yates High School and Portsmouth Beauty Academy. For 27 years she was the proprietor of a child care company. She was a member of 6th Street Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eric R. Elam of Suffolk; five daughters, Tenee' Bell and Tiffany Bell both of Suffolk, Tqesha Bell and Tiera Bell both of Suffolk, and Erica Newsome of Chesapeake, Virginia; two sons, Lamar Newsome and Antoino Newsome both of Suffolk, Virginia; sister, Terry Cooper of Portsmouth, Virginia; two brothers, Earl Bell and Tim Cooper (Lucreatia) both of Portsmouth, VA; 11 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Spicy for her dedication and all acts of kindness. A viewing will be held 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
