Rita Faye Vincent Hayes Fleetwood, 71, of Battery Avenue transitioned Saturday, June 23, 2018, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ovilla B. Vincent and Theodore R. Vincent, Sr. She was a member of East End Baptist Church and many organizations. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 25 years, Dennis Fleetwood of Suffolk; three daughters, Nicole M. Jackson (Darryl) of Suffolk, Judy Tuawana Hayes of Sandy Springs, GA and Nyoka I. Berro (Carlos) of Newport News; son, Freddie L. Hayes, Jr (Rita) of Virginia Beach; sister, Paulette J. Mills (Robert) of Portsmouth; three brothers, Theodore R. Vincent, Jr., Suffolk, Dwight L. Vincent, Jr, Norfolk, and Michael D. Vincent of Suffolk, VA; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 grand-angel; 1 grand Mimi; a dear friend, Edna Mitchell Boone; In-laws; and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at East End Baptist Church., 1056 Portsmouth Blvd. Dr. Wayne D. Faison will deliver the message of comfort.
