Ricky Allen Brown was born March 11, 1960 to Lula Mae and Fred Brown in Norfolk, VA. He departed this life and transitioned to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at home in Suffolk, VA. Ricky (known as Rick or Mr. Ricky) was predeceased by his parents, Lula Mae and Fred Brown of Chesapeake, VA and sister Lula L. Drew (Dennis) of Suitland, MD. Ricky left to cherish his memories his loving wife, Margarette S. Brown of Suffolk, VA; four sons, Ricky (April) of Suffolk, VA, Marcus (Patrice) of Chesapeake, VA, Michael Harper (Jasmine) of Hampton, VA and Donald Bennett of Virginia Beach, VA; two daughters, Donesha Bennett and Alexis Stewart both from Suffolk, VA; two brothers, Darrell C. (Patrian) Brown of Virginia Beach, VA and Willie Lee Brown of Chesapeake, VA; four sisters, Elizabeth Brown-Wilder (William, Sr.) of Chesapeake, VA, Joan Miller of Barnwells, SC, Carol Brown of Suffolk, VA, and Brenda of Fort Washington, MD; seven grandchildren, Marcus, Jr., Melay, Ryan London, Sophie (Boo Boo), Michael Harper, Jr., Mikko Harper and Kacey Stewart; two godchildren, Christopher and Kilee Barksdale; one additional person to the family, Tyliyah Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a good friend, Andre Venerable. "We bow in humble submission to the will of God" A public viewing will be held 2-5pm, Sunday, July 10, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held 11am, Monday, July 11, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel.
