Quashawn Darnell Montgomery

July 17, 1995 — June 12, 2022

Quashawn Darnell Montgomery born July 17, 1995 to Sandy Montgomery and Santonio Wilson. From primary education to Lakeland High School this personable young man was quiet in his approach to life. Quashawn had a passionate way of loving who he loved and being around his family and friends, spending time with good company playing games on Xbox or PlayStation especially Suka, Madden and football. Quashawn was also a lover of good food. He was a Montgomery for sure! Quashawn loved pizza, chicken and his grandma Emma's homecooked meals. Being a gentle giant among people can often times be misunderstood but this word represents who Quashawn was. Quashawn was a gentle soul who recently confessed his commitment as a born again believer. As a result we do not grieve as others who have no hope, for Quashawn has been totally healed and has gained eternal access into God's Kingdom and where as the same precious promise given to him is extended to us. Quashawn leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Sandy Montgomery; father, Santonio Wilson (Celina); sister, Latosha Renee Montgomery; brother, Derek Sawyer; two grandmothers, Emma F. Montgomery and Celestine Wilkins (Robert); one niece; one nephew; seven aunts, Kathy (Lorraine), Michell Vera (Frederick), Vickie (Larry), Terri, Caroline and Stephanie; six uncles, James Frances, James, Reginald, Willie Wilson and Rodney; a host of additional relatives. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
