Prenell Randolph, Jr.

Prenell Randolph, Jr, 59 of Suffolk, VA passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Suffolk on September 26, 1965, to the late Prenell Randolph, Sr, and Catherine H. Randolph. He was the second of three children. Prenell was a 1984 graduate of John Yeates High School. He furthered his education at Tidewater Community College, ITT Technical Institute and ECPI. His employment included Falcon Cable, Holiday Ice and AMC Trucking of Ashland, VA.

Prenell inherited his artistic abilities from his father. He loved to draw and to take things apart to see if he could put them back together. Prenell was a first-class comedian, there was never a dull moment when he was with family & friends.

He absolutely loved his family and his family loved him. He was predeceased by his father Prenell Randolph, Sr, his brother Wayne Randolph, and his son Prenell Scott. He is survived by his son Pierre Randolph; Mother Catherine H. Randolph; sister & brother-in-law Anita & Claxton Johnson, Jr. Also left with loving memories are his nieces & nephews Quanisha, Porscha, Torrey, Claxton, III & Belinda and a host of cousins and friends.

Prenell’s celebration of life service will be held at East End Baptist Church 1056 Portsmouth Blvd. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the memorial fund of East End Baptist in the name of Prenell Randolph, Jr. Professional services have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home.
