Paul Hall,Jr.

Paul Hall, Jr., 69, entered into eternal rest on the morning of Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Sentara Obici Hospital surrounded by his family. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Paul Hall, Sr., his mother Minerva Hall, and brothers William and James Hall. Paul, affectionately known as "Booga" by his family, was born to Paul and Minerva Hall on August 23, 1951 in Nansemond County, VA. Paul served in the US Army (SP4) during the Vietnam War and received the Gallantry Cross with Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. After his honorable discharge, Paul returned from the Armed Services and served the Suffolk community as DJ Paul Hall. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 49 years, Margenia Hall, his daughter La'Rhonda M. Hall, and two sons, LaRon and LaPaul hall all of Suffolk, seven grandchildren Qu'Ran Cook, Qua'Desia Faulk, Chamaya Riddick, Khamani Jones, Ki'Auri Jones, Ka'Dayzion Wilson and Xavier Spencer, his sisters, Sally (Ned) Everett, Robin Hall, Lois Hall, Sandra Dildy all of Suffolk, VA, and Delores "Ann" Hall of Jarratt, VA, his brother Charles (Stacy) Hall of Windsor, VA, several sisters & brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A homegoing celebration will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.. Apostle Dr. Tonya L. Spruill will deliver the message of comfort. Mr. Paul will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
