Pamela Gates-Darden

Pamela Gates-Darden, 51, of North Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Sylvia Gates and Robert (Jack) Harris. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Fellowship Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Alvin Darden, III; sisters, Kim Wilson and Vanessa Gary; aunts, Darlene Gates, Debbie Gates, Connie Holliman, Mollie Harris, Mary Harris, Shirley Parker and Henrish Cherry; uncles, Charles Gates, George Gates and Reginald Gates; special cousins, Felita Gates-Cooke, Selita Gates-Reid, Belinda Artis and Sybol Gates; a host of friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Robert A. Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the C.W.
