Especially on Sunday when he flipped from game to game. His favorite team was the Green Bay Packers, but he could tell you anything about any team, week to week and season to season. “Ali” was a loving husband and devoted father. While raising his family, “Ali” worked 17-years at Suffolk Fruit Produced and 20-years with the City of Suffolk Public Utilities before retiring in 1996. After retiring, “Ali” filled his schedule with helping others, mainly providing them with transportation. Even his grandchildren called granddaddy because they knew he would “be right there”. “Ali” was preceded in death by his parents: Benjamin and Clara Beamon; brothers: Percy Benjamin, James Beamon, and son: Benjamin M.
