Ne'Kesha "Smallz" Chavonda Baton

Ne'Kesha "Smallz" Baton, 41, of Suffolk transitioned Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. She is the daughter of Viola M. Baton Whitley and the late Ripatha Coles.Smallz was a graduate of Lakeland High School and attended Norfolk State University. She was employed with Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health as a Mental Health Technician. She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church as a youth where she served in the Youth Choir and the Youth Usher Board.She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Viola M. Baton Whitley(Henry A. Whitley); two daughters, Mykaila Wiggins and Lauryn Beamon both of Suffolk; son, Mykhai Wiggins of Suffolk; devoted sister, Tonia E. Baton Blizzard of Suffolk; brother, Jason D. Whitley of Suffolk; devoted friend, Larry Beamon; a host of relatives and friends.A visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Balm Church East Campus 525 E. Washington Street, Suffolk.
