Mr. Maryland Leondra Wilkins

Maryland Leondra (Keith) Wilkins was born on May 21, 1966, to Dorothy L. Wilkins-Woodley and the late Willie L. Wilkins, Sr. He was educated in the Suffolk Public School System and received his GED from the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Keith liked watching all types of sports. His favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a wiz at playing Chess. Keith also loved cooking crabs and helping out his brother and friends. He is affectionately called the " Mayor of Jericho".

Keith was predeceased in death by his father, Willie L. Wilkins, Sr., his brothers; Joseph A. Wilkins and Willie L. Wilkins, Jr., his maternal grandparents; Leon Sr. and Lola Green; paternal grandparents, Maryland Sr. and Mamie Wilkins, aunts; Shirley Pugh, Ruth Hill, Joyce A. Wilkins, and Audrey Vaughan, uncles; Maryland Wilkins, Jr. and David Green.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory, three children, daughters; Tierra Boone (Travis) and Tashunda Johnson, a son Marqee Butler, a devoted and loving mother, Dorothy L. Wilkins-Woodley; dear and dedicated fiance'; Vanessa Johnson; two sisters, Loretta Wilkins and Melody Whitfield (Terence); four aunts, Rose M. Carr (Milton), Barbara J. Wilkins, Catherine Wilkins, and Gloria Wilkins; four uncles, Edward Green (Eunice), Leon Green, Jr. (Yvonne), Fletcher Pugh, II (Shirley Pugh- deceased); ten grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Rising St. James, 201 N. Sixth Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434. He will be laid to rest in Hollylawn Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
