Morris was an honorable and loving person. He loved his family and loved the Lord. He had an affectionate smile that would light up a room. He was a devoted husband to his late wife and a doting father to his late daughter. If you were ever in his presence he would tell stories of the time he served in the Army overseas. He also loved looking out for his young nieces (Serenity, KyAsia and Azihia) and nephews (Messiah and Kamijah) while their mom worked. Him and his Shortywop (Ren) would walk and go to the park. He spent countless hours debating with his brother (Jerry) about politics, sports or just talking about their younger days in South Suffolk. His famous barbecue ribs will be missed at family functions. Morris was preceded in death by his wife Jean Mason Jones, his beautiful daughter Batina Jones, his maternal grandmother Annie Mae Jones, maternal aunt Irene Hall, sister Carmen Jones and brother Frank Jones.
