Monica "Quez" Chapman

On November 8, 2023 at 11:50 a.m. our Heavenly Father called our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend home.

Monica Renita Chapman A.K.A "Quez". She was born May 28, 1990 to Olivia Johnson. She was a member of St. Mark Church of Deliverance Center where she was a praise and worship dancer and sung in the choir and most of all where she gave her life to Christ.

She enjoyed playing with the kids. Her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys (DC4L); basketball her favorite team was the Miami Heat. She also enjoyed playing video games, and eating her favorite foods which were steamed crab and cereal. She loved dressing from head to toe and her favorite color was red. Monica was a friendly person and was loved by everyone she met.

Monica leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Olivia Johnson of Franklin; sister, Jessica Chapman; nieces and nephews, JayAsia Chapman, JaeTwan Chapman, JaShawn Warren, JaNasia Chapman, JaQuan Chapman, Jeremiah Bynum and Jayden Bynum; grandmother, Dorothy Chapman; uncle James and Tamar Chapman; godmother, Brenda Mann; also several children that she called her own; other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at St. Mark Deliverance Center, 3801 Turnpike, Road, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
