Mittie Charlene Privott

Mittie Charlene Privott, 73 of 311 St. James Avenue, Suffolk, VA, transitioned on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

 She was the daughter of the late Ethel Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband; William Privott, sister; Patricia Holmes, and a brother; Timothy Wallace.

She attended Booker T. Washington High School. She was employed at Lipton Tea for 30+ years until she retired.

 She leaves to cherish her memory 3 sons; Darrin Holmes of Elizabeth City, Tyrann Holmes and Antwan Robinson of Suffolk, VA. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 sister; Loretta Young of South Carolina, 4 brothers; Dodson Holmes of New Jersey, Dennis Wallace of New Jersey, Ernest Wallace ( Cassandra) of Las Vegas and William Wallace of Portsmouth VA, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at Balm Church East Campus. Bishop A.S. Hall, Sr., will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.  Professional services with dignity, compassion and care have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
