Nahja Malika Cary (SuperStar Princess) went into eternal slumber at Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters, Norfolk, VA on September 23, 2020 due to complications following cancer. She was 11. Princess Nahja was born on September 12, 2009 in Suffolk, Virginia to her parents, Rachel Cary and Richard Johnson. She was fun loving, a peoples person. Nahja was smart and loved to make everyone laugh. Singing in the Choir at the East End Baptist Church was one of her favorite things to pastimes. Nahja was a warrior full of life and was a joy to everyone she came in contact with. She never complained no matter how difficult her sufferings. Our Superstar Princess was the example of Faith in God. Helping her mother with her brothers and sisters, many times being a little Mama. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Ms. Rachel Cary of Suffolk; father, Richard John (Jacai) of Florida, Christian Nolan, Jordan, and Naomi Cary all of Suffolk, VA; brother Deceased Malik Stephenson (Heaven); her maternal grandmother Overseer Patricia Billups of Suffolk; maternal great grand parents, Leroy and Frances Turner of Zuni, Va; uncle and aunts, Jonathan Turner of Newport News, VA; aunt, Tara Billups of Suffolk, Dr. William Billups (Felicia Billups) of FL, and a host of cousins and loving friends. The family will received loved one on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 12:00p.m.-7p.m. in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. 900 E. Washington Street, Suffolk, VA 23434. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at East End Baptist Church, 1056 Portsmouth Blvd, Suffolk, VA. Rev. Dr. Faison will deliver the message of comfort.
