Milton Alan "Timmy" Johnson

Milton Alan "Timmy" Johnson, 51, of Cypress Chapel Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Friday, October 25, 2019 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was the son of Barbara Hopson-Johnson and the late James R. Johnson. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Johnson. Timmy attended Suffolk Public Schools and worked for Berry's Plastic Company. He was a member of Balm Church East Campus. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carolyn Brown-Johnson; mother, Barbara Hopson-Johnson; two daughters, Ti'Mara Hamlin and Makaylaha Johnson both of Suffolk; two sons, Jaquan Hamlin and Milton Johnson, Jr. both of Suffolk; two step-daughters, Qu'Tisha Watson and Quenisha Jordan both of Suffolk; stepson, Curtis Brown of Suffolk; four sisters, Brenda White of Suffolk, Della Eley (Frank) of Suffolk, Barbara Goodman (Darryl) of Corapeake, N.C, ; and Lisa Halsey (Terrence) of Suffolk; five brothers, Clifton Johnson (Mary), William Johnson (Ruth), James Johnson, Curtis Johnson (Tracey), and Jeffery Hopson all of Suffolk, VA; two grandchildren; special friend, Elbert Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at Balm Church East Campus, 523 E. Washington Street, Suffolk, Virginia. He will be laid to rest in Balm Church Memorial Gardens.
