A gentle soul, a steadfast heart, and a life filled with quiet strength and love - Mikiah has gone home to be with the Lord. Mikiah was born on April 4th, 2000, in Suffolk, Virginia. She was known for her infectious smile, boundless energy, and kind-hearted nature. Mikiah attended King's Fork High School, graduating in 2018. She lived her life wholeheartedly until her illness. Despite her struggles, Mikiah inspired those around her by often saying, "I'm fine," even when she was not.

She is survived by her mother, Kia Harris (Adrian); her father, Michael Wells; and her brothers: Cory Cooper Jr. (Monique) and Michael Wells Jr; step brothers, Kashawn Williams, Laquan Williams, and Jayden Harris. Her sisters include Michel'le Wells and Jayma Armstrong; and step sister, Solita Williams; Grandmother Gloria Green; the late Michael and Jeanell Wells; as well as her aunts: Letisha Thomas, Akeyda Hinton, La'Shiona Scott (Derrick), and LaTerra Gaines. She had countless cousins who were dear to her heart, and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.
