Michael Louis Davis

Michael Louis Davis, 70, of Norview Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Depaul Medical Center. He was the only child of Ben and Mary Alice Davis of Suffolk, VA. Michael served in the US Army as a hospital corpsman during the Vietnam War and graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Michael went on later in life to pursue a Master of Divinity, at Wake Forest University. Michael attended Norfolk State University pursuing an advanced degree in Social Work while being employed as a teacher at Booker T. Washington Middle School in Suffolk. Michael, was an associate pastor for a period at the Rock Church in Virginia Beach, VA. Michael was the father to one son, Michael Davis of Atlanta and one daughter, Shawnee Davis of Virginia Beach. Funeral service and burial will be a private graveside ceremony at the convenience of his family. John 4:14 , Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.
