God sent us a blessing on April 20, 1980 in the form of Michael Angelo Faulk. On February 9, 2022 at the age of 41 God called him home. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James "Snap" Faulk and his paternal grandfather Richard "Buddy" Moody. Michael graduated from Lakeland High School in 1999. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and was employed by Glover Trailer Leasing (GTL) for 10 years. Left to treasure his memory are his mother, Mary L. Sweat (Thomas), maternal grandmother, Evelyn R. Faulk, his father, Richard R. Moody (Lorraine), his fiance' Nicole Corprew; his three little angels-daughters, Kylea Durham, Michaela Faulk and son Mekhi Faulk; also to carry on are his maternal uncles and aunts/heart, brothers and sisters Melvin L. Faulk (Mattie), Jacquelyn Jeffres (Melvin), Talma Parker, J. Fleetwood Faulk (Catherine), Larry D. Faulk, Jeffrey Faulk. Also left to cherish his memory is his paternal grandmother Martha Moody, brother, Richard Moody III(Tempest), sisters, Nina Moody, Bridgette Scott (Thaddeus) and Danisha Turner; paternal uncles and aunts, Reginald Moody (Sheila), Gayle Banks-Jackson (Junius), Henry Moody, Dana Moody and Carolyn Moody; two maternal step-siblings; two paternal step-siblings; an extensive family that includes his cousins, great aunts and a host of family and friends with special friends, Fred Yulee, Cornelius "Corn" Copeland and Valerie Evans. A celebration of life will be held noon, Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 4901 Deer Path Road, Suffolk, Virginia. He will be laid to rest in Boykins Family Cemetery.
