Michael Andrei Banks entered into his eternal kingdom in his home on November 29, 2021. Michael better known as "Mike" was born to the late Margaret B. Daughtrey and Jerry L. Outlaw. At a young age, he gained a step-father, the late Thomas F. Daughtrey. Michael attended Windsor High School in Isle of Wight County and graduated with the class of 1979. After graduating, mike joined the United States Marine Corp and served four months before returning home. When he returned, he decided to take up some trades at P.D. Pruden Vocational Center in Suffolk, Virginia. While enrolled, Mike learned the skills of Plumbing and Auto Mechanics. He continued to use his skills throughout his life, whether he was using it on various jobs, projects for family and friends, or getting dirty fixing cars with the late Uncle Cocky Rawlings. Later on in life, he found a new passion "Farming", while working with Mr. Joel Bradshaw. Mike continued to work with Mr. Bradshaw until his accident in 2018. Michael enjoyed sports like baseball, football, football, and baseball, whether he was watching or playing . He enjoyed baseball so much, he joined the "Carrsville Woodpecker". They played in numerous places including Knights Park and Boone's Park. He enjoyed other things like church, watching his favorite team, "Dallas Cowboys", western, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Michael leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Tonya Saunders and Shequra Babb; three grandchildren, Janas Saunders, Dyzire Henderson and Aliyyah Henderson; sister, Jasmine Binn; four aunts, Christine Foreman, Ivery Knight, Ella Clark and Lavone Outlaw; uncle, Stanley Outlaw; special friends, Carol Powell; two step-daughters, Tracey Mitchell and Jennifer Mitchell; nice, Ah'Miyah Binn; nephew, Ah'Ziyon Binn; a host of cousins, an family and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. Mr. Banks will be laid to rest at Picot Cemetery in Carrsville, VA.
