Melvin Louis Bowser

Melvin Bowser, 66, of Snead Drive, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence. He was the son of the late Carrie Bowser and Willard Bowser. He retired in 2010 after 30 years of faithful and dedicated services from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Vera Bowser of Suffolk; two children, Adriane Bowser and Antwanette Sutton both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Brenda Hunter of Portsmouth and Viola Knight of Centerville, VA; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Bishop A.S. Hall will deliver the message of comfort.
