Maxie Jack Mabry

Maxie Jack Mabry AKA "Bay" was born on January 4, 1944 in Southampton County, VA to the late Etta Mae Picott and Booker T. Mabry. He worked at Smithfield Packing and later retired from Planters Peanuts in Suffolk, VA. He was preceded in death by his son, Maxie Mabry Jr., sister, Lottie Mabry, brothers, Melvin Mabry, William Mabry and J.T. Mabry and devoted friend, Cynthia K. Randall. He was an avid car enthusiast. He has a love for fishing and crabbing. He love just sitting out in his gazebo enjoying nature. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Maxine J. Blizzard (Marvin) of Surry, VA, Margarita Williams of Suffolk, VA and Dianetta King of Georgia; son, Davious King (Danielle) of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Delicia King, Alecia King, Marvin A. Blizzard Jr. and Deshonta Mabry; great granddaughter, Alayna Blizzard; daughter-in-law, Evonka Mabry; other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, noon, January 31, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
