Mary M. Savage

Mary Savage,86, of Dover Court, Suffolk, transitioned Monday, May 6, 2019 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Martha Morris and Joe Colley. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Freeman Savage and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Tillman. Mary was the pillar of her family in which she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved taking care of her family. She leaves to cherish her memory seven daughters, Carolyn Knight of Suffolk, VA, Odessa Savage of Suffolk, VA, Dianne Mann of League City, TX, Barbara Williams of Suffolk, VA, Wanda Savage of Chesapeake, VA, Latoya Savage of Suffolk, VA, and Angela Savage of Dallas, TX; one son, Eddie Savage, Jr. (Zirdarn) of Portsmouth, VA; 24 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. She will be entombed in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
