Mary L. Williams, 79, of Jonathans Way, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Accordius Health at Nansemond Pointe. She was bor;n in Brunswick County, VA to the late Maggie Johnson and Clarence Johnson. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Thomas Williams and son, Floyd M. Williams. She retired as a Packer from Gwaltney Meat Company in 1999 after 20 years of faithful and dedicated service. And was a member of Greater First Baptist Church Orlando. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Vivian L. Williams of Suffolk, VA; two, sons, Neal T. Williams (Barbara) and Curtis M. Williams (Mary), both of Suffolk; adopted son, Dwayne Perry of Franklin, VA; four sisters, Daisy Wilson (Harry) of Hampton, VA, Rachel Johnson of Suffolk, VA, Christine Mason (Mitchell) of Courtland, VA and Shirley Johnson of Suffolk; brother, Clarence Johnson, Jr. Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren, Leron Williams (Sasha), Neal J. Williams (Jennifer) and Crystal Hamiel (Larry); nine great-grandchildren, Shayron, Zaire, Dymonasia, Larry, Jordan, As'shari, Makiyah, Rhys and Elaina; long time friend, Charlie Barkley, Jr. of Suffolk; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at First Baptist Church Orlando. Rev. Moses Ware will deliver the message of comfort. She will be entombed in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
