Mary Frances Hill

Mary Frances Bremby Hill was born Nov 15, 1935 in Portsmouth VA to late Earnestine and William Roosevelt Bremby Sr. On Sunday July 24, 2022 our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, and aunt gained her heavenly wings at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk Va. Mary Frances was educated in Portsmouth school system. She attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic School and later transferred to I.C. Norcum High school where she earned her diploma. She held many jobs throughout her life but her main job was a nurse assistant at HillCrest (Nansemond Pointe). Mary Frances accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a former member of Poplar Run Baptist Church Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents: Earnestine and William Roosevelt Bremby Sr, Her sister Shirley Kidd, Her daughter Angela Holliman and two sons Sandy Hill and Terrance Hill Mary Frances leaves to cherish her memory one brother William Rossevelt Bremby JR(Marion), six daughters Ivey Hill, Zelda Hill, Joann Hyman (Carver) Francina Hicks all of Suffolk VA, Renee Hill Jordan of Orlando Fl,and Melvina Hill of Suffolk VA Five sons Marvin Hill, Brian Hill (Shelia) both of Suffolk VA, Cory Hill(Shakeira) of Orlando FL, Donald Hill Eley (Kelley) of Georgia and Ron Hill of Newport News VA, And a host of Grandchildren, Great Grand and Great Great Grand, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and neighbors. A viewing will be held 1-5 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Sixth Street Baptist Church. Ambassador Cory Hill will deliver the message of comfort. MASK ARE MANDATORY TO ATTEND THE SERVICE. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
